Gayle Mayes (born December 30, 1956) is an Australian sprint canoer who competed in the early 1990s. She finished eighth in the K-4 500 m event at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
Mayes is now a professor at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, where she does research on tourism.[1]
